After his graduation, Hekim continued his profession for three years in Üsküdar, Erdoğan Pamukçu Orthodontic Clinic.
He started to work at International Hospital in 1991 and at the same time opened his own clinic in Yeşilköy. He moved his clinic to Çekmeköy in 2007.
In 2009 went to London and studied 'Botulinum Toxin', one of the treatment methods for Gummy Smile, Mandibular and Temporal Muscle Contractions at the Bob Khanna Institute.
